Faye L. Robb, 91, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Greenville, SC.
Mrs. Robb was born June 15, 1922 in Acorn, Mo. to Marshall T. and Ina F. Leonard Settles. She was a member of First Christian Church in Poplar Bluff, where she and her husband were active members for 50 years. Mrs. Robb retired in 1989 after many years of service from the Bank of Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Eastern Star as well as Butler County Democratic Club, and was active in many community and service projects. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, being at the cabin on Current River, gardening and quilting.
On Jan. 27, 1940, she married Curtis Elmer Robb in Naylor. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2006.
Survivors include three daughters: Sandra Robb Epley and husband, Jack, of Greenville, South Carolina, Gale Robb Senn and husband, Bill, of Houston, Texas and Wanda Robb Ormsby and husband, Bob, of Poplar Bluff; and ten grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Monica, Jason, Meghan, Maren, Rebekkah, Jessica, Chris, Maria, Payten and Alanna.
Her parents and two brothers, Earl Settles and Ewing Settles also preceded Mrs. Robb in death.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. A private burial will be at Naylor Memorial Cemetery in Naylor.
