Florence Marie Eddington

Florence Marie Eddington, 64, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, March 22, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Eddington was born Sept. 1, 1945 in Hume, Mo. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church at Shook, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Eddington enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family, gardening and flowers.

On Dec. 7, 1963 she married Jack R. Eddington in St. Louis. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Tina Jackson and husband Dale of Dittmer; son, Jack A. Eddington of St. Louis; five grandchildren: Stephen Eddington, Joseph Jackson, Caitlyn Jackson, Danielle Eddington and Kristen Eddington; four sisters; and one brother.

Her parents, Clarence Edward and Edna (Schirard) Hoyt, a sister and two brothers preceded Mrs. Eddington in death.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Shook. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church with the Rev. Louie Robinson officiating.
