Floyd Calvin Howe

Floyd Calvin Howe, 85, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Mr. Howe was born April 13, 1928, in Lafe, AR, to the late Emsley and Balcus Hyde Howe.

On February 16, 1950 he married Ruby Bell in Indiana, she preceded him in death on January 29, 1976. He married Marvella Ballard Browder on April 29, 1977, she survives at the home.

Mr. Howe worked for thirty years as a crane operator for General Motors. In retirement, he moved to Poplar Bluff and farmed for the next 36 years. He was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two children; Marlene Morrish (Robert) of Winter Haven, FL, Dale Howe of Flint, MI, and five step children; Dianne Paul of Poplar Bluff, John Browder (Sharon) of Fenton, MI, Steve Browder (Peggy) and Gary Browder (Yolanda), all of Flint, MI, and Mark Browder (Valerie) of Clifford, MI; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two brothers; Dale Howe and Kenneth Howe, of Flint, MI.

His parents, and three brothers; Billy Jeff, Dennis, and Lloyd Howe preceded him in death.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be at 1:30p.m. at Providence Cemetery in Lafe, AR.
