Frances I. Noles-Verdier

Francis I. Noles -Verdier, 95, of Poplar Bluff, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014, at the Monticello House in Jackson, MO.

Mrs. Verdier was born in Dogwood, MO, to the late Newton and Alice Heath Melton on February 11, 1919, the youngest of eight children. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Billy D. Verdier of Rockford, IL.

Survivors include her children: Gloria Harrelson of St. Louis, MO; Marvin (Joann) Noles of Lake St. Louis, MO; and Eva (Charlie) Rainwater of Sedgewickville, MO; grandchildren: Mary (Brett) Bunk, Brian (Jennifer) Noles, Terry Keene, Kevin Keene; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, Friday from 5 ? 7 p.m. A graveside service will begin at 10:30 at Fairdealing Cemetery on Saturday.

Frances believed that ""?life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're still here, we may as well dance?"" and she loved to dance!
