Fred Moore

Fred Moore, 75, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born on July 15, 1943 to Baxter and Lula (Wyatt) Moore in Montevallo, AL. Fred retired from Robertson Bridge and Grading as a heavy equipment operator. His longtime girlfriend Benita Wilson preceded him in death in 2012.

First and foremost, he loves his grandchildren. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and took his grandchildren with him whenever possible.

Fred is survived by his girlfriend, Stella Tanksley; two daughters, Brandy (Dallas Burden) Moore and Penny Eltineer; two step-daughters, Angie Peoples and Lisa Wilson all of Poplar Bluff, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Waldrop of Ashville, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jeff Moore and Freddy Moore, Jr.; and five sisters and six brothers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1 – 3:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 3:00 pm in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel.
