Freda Lindsay Krivohlavek, 79, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Krivohlavek was born Nov. 11, 1935, in Chaonia, Mo., to the late Luther and Mary Noldge Wilson. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the benevolent committee and a nursery worker. Mrs. Krivohlavek was self-employed. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing canasta, gardening, and flowers.
On June 6, 1953, she married Kenneth Lindsay in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2000. On Sept. 19, 2004, she married Laverne Krivohlavek, in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three children: Maria Barnett (Gene), of Hanceville, Ala., Roger Lindsay (Pam), of Mill Spring, Mo., and Kenneth Ray Lindsay, Jr. (Pam), of Poplar Bluff; three step-children: Dianne Taylor (Dave) of Oklahoma, Wanda Morehouse (Gene), of South Carolina and Rose Mary Phillips, of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren: Christine Wiggins, Brian Barnett, Zeth-Michael Lindsay and Faith Lindsay; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Allgood, of Poplar Bluff and Imogene Baird, of Empire, Ala.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will follow at noon at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, with Rev. Luther Abbott officiating.
