Frederick Leonard Lock

Frederick Leonard Lock, 58, of Fredericktown, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 25, 2018 at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home in Fredericktown.

Mr. Lock, the son of the late Charles and Eileen Elliott Lock, was born May 9, 1960 in Kokomo, IN. He was of the Baptist faith. Before his health began to fail he worked for Merviss Medal Recycling and Kokomo Grain Company. Mr. Lock enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was known as quite a jokester. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved watching wildlife, searching for arrowheads, fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed restoring guitars and repairing things.

Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Hicks of Russiaville, IN and Debra Shirley of Tipton, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Allen Lock and Kenneth Lock also preceded him in death.

A brief visitation will be from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, MO with the Rev. Billy G. Orr officiating.
