Freta I. (Greenwood) Hager

Freta I. Hager, 83, of Poplar Bluff passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hager, the daughter of the late O.E. and Marie (Walters) Greenwood, was born Dec. 4, 1932 in Butler County. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She had retired after over 30 years with H. W. Gossard Women's Apparel as a seamstress and served as a tour guide for Robbins Tours.

On April 15, 1950, she was united in marriage to Eldon "Pete" Hager in Piggott Ark. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Hager is also survived by six nieces and nephews; a special granddaughter; Gina Hobbs-Wood; and a host of friends and church family.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Connie Greenwood and Leon Greenwood.

The visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel with the Rev. J.C. Bryant officiating. Burial will be at Kinsey Cemetery in Butler Co.
