Gary Allen Wickliffe

Gary Allen Wickliffe, 71, of Poplar Bluff, died April 10, 2009 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Wickliffe was born February 5, 1938 in Sedalia, Mo. He was retired as an Inspector at the Ozark Regional Planning Commission. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid NASCAR sports fan and he was a member of the Hopewell Masonic Lodge #239 in Lesterville, Mo.

On May 3, 1958 he was married to Thelma Cureton in Sedalia. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Allen Eugene Wickliffe and wife Susan of Union, Mo.; Jeffery Scott Wickliffe and wife Cari of Fenton, Mo., 4 grandchildren, Scott Jeffery Wickliffe of Fenton, Joshua Callahan Davis of Potosi, Shane Michael Davis of Dexter and Miranda Skyler Davis of Union, Mo.

Mr. Wickliffe was preceded in death by his parents, Medford Eugene and Mary Louise (Arnold) Wickliffe and his sister, Karen Shelley.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Ward officiating.
