Geneva Ruth (Inman) Osborn

Geneva Ruth Osborn, 76, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at The Cedargate in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Osborn was born Jan. 14, 1936 in Butler County, Mo., and was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School class of 1953. She was a homemaker, and owner of Osborn Paint Co. in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Osborn enjoyed spending time with her family, painting pictures, collecting porcelain dolls and working in her yard.

On May 28, 1954, she married John Osborn in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Osborn preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2000.

Survivors include two children, Pamela Osborn Nunn and husband Ralph and John Osborn Jr. and wife Kathy both of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Jerry Inman of Mena, Ark.

Her parents, Alfred S. and Ellen Easter Lily (Hosfelt) Inman and brothers, Merl Inman and James Inman also preceded Mrs. Osborn in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with The Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
