George F. Mccall

George F. McCall, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at his residence.

George, the son of the late Moses "Mac" and Lois (Barham) McCall, was born Feb. 11, 1945 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was a proud member of the First Christian Church. George retired after 24 years with Gamblin Lumber Company.

On Feb. 11, 1966, he married the love of his life, Annette Underwood in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jamie (Jeffrey) Hodge of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Georgeanna “Jana” McCall of Dexter, Mo.; three grandchildren, Scott (Shianne) Ellis, Christopher (Angie) Ellis and Samantha Albrecht; four great-grandchildren, Izaac, Chase, Maria and Zoey Ellis; a sister, Genie Carmody and family of Tallahassee, Fl and many cousins and life long friends.

The visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Billy Garrett officiating.
