Gladys E. Gaehle

Gladys E. Gaehle, 86, of O'Fallon died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center, in Piedmont.

Mrs. Gaehle was born Aug. 24, 1921, in Poplar Bluff to the late John James and Lela Estelle (Devor) Patterson. She was of the Lutheran faith, and was a retired secretary. Mrs. Gaehle enjoyed flower gardening, traveling and baking.

Survivors include three daughters, Judith Dee Carter, of Piedmont, Shirley Jo Roberts and Kathleen Mae White, both of O'Fallon; a son, Ronald Allan Farran, of O'Fallon; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Estella Faye Warfield, of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
