Gladys Garrison Page

Gladys Page, after a long and productive life, died of natural causes at her home on Saturday, March 5, 2016.

Mrs. Page was born in the Kime community in Wayne County, Mo., on the 27th of October in 1914. She was the daughter of the late Henry Archie and Virgie Seabaugh Garrison, whose ancestors were early pioneers of Wayne County. Mrs. Page lived most of her adult life south of Poplar Bluff and taught school for many years in Butler and Wayne Counties as well as served her community in various volunteer capacities.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Raymond Page on Nov. 13, 1937 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mr. Page and their two eldest children, Gail Frances Page Duffy and David Lloyd Page preceded Mrs. Page in death. Living children are Janet Page Littlejohn, Floyd Raymond Page, married to Sherry Austin Page and Mary Page Baker, married to Douglas Baker. Grandchildren include Deborah Duffy (Terry) Ohl, Ranee Sparkman (Jerry) Mack, Rodney Sparkman, Susan Hillis McCarty and William (Kerri Wong) Hillis. Lisa Page (Andrew) Rose and Cindy Page (Phillip) Rhodes. Great-grandchildren are: Justin Roland, Amanda Roland (Evan) Wood, Ashley Mack, Lacey Mack, Demi Menotti, T.J. Menotti, Cooper Rhodes, Cash Rhodes, Fischer Rose, Foster Rose and Molly Kate Hillis. Great-great-grandchildren are: Isaiah, Hannah and Silas Wood.

Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Don Richmann will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Mo.
