Glendamae W. Lair, 76, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Lair was born June 7, 1932, in Ponder, Mo. She was a member of New Day Ministries Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lair enjoyed crocheting, sewing and fishing.
On Nov. 22, 1956 she married Lindel Lair in Springfield, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include three sons: John Lair, of Poplar Bluff, James Lair and wife Jo Lynne, of Alton, Ill., and Gary Lair and wife Sandy, of Virden, Ill.; 2 grandchildren, Jon Lair and Nathan Lair; 2 great-grandchildren, Tori Lair and Trent Lair; a sister, Ethel, of O'Fallon, Mo.; and two brothers, John Hendrix, of Poplar Bluff and Gary Hendrix, of Puxico.
Her parents, Frank and Ethel (Brown) Watson, two daughters, Nola and Nora and son Richard also preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Wolverton, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
