Golda Virginia Worley Harris 87, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Harris, the daughter of the late Charles Floyd and Elma Myrtle (Palmer) Transue, was born Aug. 12, 1928 in St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and attended Westside Church of God. Mrs. Harris enjoyed music, singing and playing the piano for church and funeral services. She also loved flower gardening.
She was married to the Rev. Bobby Lee Worley. He preceded her in death. She was later married to O.B. Harris, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Jo Worley Rap-McFarland and her husband, Glenn of Wichita, Kansas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma McMillan and her husband, Paul of St. Louis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Two sons, Kenneth Lee Worley and Gary Douglas Worley also preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
