Goldie Johnson

Goldie Johnson, 96, of Bolivar, Mo formally of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Citizen's Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Mo.

Goldie was born Dec. 7, 1919. She lived in Poplar Bluff for many years before moving to Bolivar, Mo. in 2009. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

On Feb. 3, 1944, Goldie was married to Jim Johnson of Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death. A daughter, Geraldine Rosfeld also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Steven Johnson and daughter-in-law, Jeanie Johnson; brother, Robert Stinson and sister-in-law Wanda Stinson; a grandson, Charles Steven Hearn of Independence, Mo.; a granddaughter, Lee Anna and her husband, Mark Scritchfield of Aurora, Ind.; and four great grandsons.

The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with Rev.Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
