Grace N. White, 100, of Poplar Bluff, Mo, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. White was born on May 1, 1912 in Butler County to William and Mollie Hainline Carpenter.

Grace was married to William Troy White; he preceded her in death in 1963.

She attended the Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, and was a member of Christian Missionary and Alliance Church in Bernie, MO. Grace had retired from Cedergate where she worked as an LPN. Her loves were spending time with her family, crocheting, making afghans, traveling and singing in the Senior Citizen Gospel Choir.

Survivors include her 2 sons: H.H. ""Bud"" White and wife Sharon of Poplar Bluff, and Hugh White of Tucson, AZ, 6 grandchildren: Beverly Vernon and husband Herschel, of Poplar Bluff, Marilyn Trout, of Broseley, Rick White and wife Barbara, Karen Johnson and husband Steve, all of Poplar Bluff, Troy White, of Phoenix, AZ, and Dawn Gerber, of L.A., CA, 13 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a great-granddaughter, Leigh Ann Trout, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with a Graveside Service following at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. Bill Vail officiating.

In lieu of flowers, food, and other gifts, donations may be made in honor of Grace to Second Baptist Church, 503 W Pine Blvd, Poplar Bluff, MO.
