Greggory D. ""Gregg"" Pulley, 49, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Pulley, also known as ""Possum"" was born Nov. 20, 1960 in Sikeston, Mo. He was of the Methodist faith, and was employed as the maintenance supervisor at Schaller Hardwood Lumber Co. in Poplar Bluff for 30 years. Mr. Pulley previously worked as an EMT at Doctors Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge 209; a member of the Moolah Temple; previously served as Monarch for Aad Grotto; member of the Hillbilly organization; former president of Three Rivers Shrine Club; and member of Sword of Bunker Hill. Mr. Pulley enjoyed going to tractor pulls and to Bricks.
On May 11, 1991 he married Marlene Summers in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include two children, Jessica Kalea Pulley and Jacob Michael Pulley both of Poplar Bluff; his mother, Shirley Elmore Haney and husband, Avery of Puxico, Mo.; a sister, Shawn Butler and husband, Roger of St. Charles, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Summers of Poplar Bluff; two brothers-in-law, Bob Cuthberton and wife, Denise of York, Pa. and David Cuthbertson of Memphis, Tenn.; a special aunt, Louise Burklow of Fla.; nieces and nephews, Jillian and Ian Butler of St. Charles, Mo. and Colleen and C.J. Cuthbertson of York, Pa.; and several cousins and a host of friends.
His father, Billy Dean Pulley preceded him in death.
A Masonic Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with visitation following from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Chapel with Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be at West Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bloomfield.
