Gregory Barger

Gregory Allan Barger, 50, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Saturday April 14, 2018 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR.

He was born on October 18, 1967 to Enos and Carolyn (Pratt) Barger in St. Louis, MO. He graduated in 1985 from Living Word Christian Academy in Poplar Bluff. Most recently Greg worked for Allied Waste. On December 24, 1988 he married Tawana Boyer in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was a member of the American Legion Post #153 in Poplar Bluff.

Greg is survived by his loving spouse of 29 years, Tawana Barger; three children, Gregory Ryan Barger, Jimmy Kyle Barger, and Dawn Isabella Barger; one grandson, Gregory Alexander Barger; his parents, Enos and Carolyn Barger, all from Poplar Bluff; one brother, Enos Lou Barger, Jr. of Fayetteville, AR; one sister, Stacy Nichole (Marcus) Dabbs of Osage Beach, MO; his sister-in-law, Penny Barger of Fayetteville, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.
