Guy Ernest Palmer

Guy E. ‘Michael’ Palmer, 68, of Patton, Missouri, formerly of Wappapello, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 in Patton.

Michael, the son of Guy Edward and Caroline Ann (Hopfensperger) Palmer was born June 24, 1952, in Appleton, Wisconsin.  He was of the Catholic faith and had retired after proudly serving his country in the US Navy.  During his time of tenure, he fought in Vietnam and Gulf Wars. Michael was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include two sons, Andrew Palmer and Anthony Palmer; three brothers, Mark E. Palmer, Eric J. Palmer and Kent M. Palmer; two sisters, Tina L. Palmer and Annette Palmer; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with full military honors will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.  Father Daniel Robles will serve as Celebrant.
