Harold E. Ash

Harold Eugene Ash, 83, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday July 12, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Ash was born in Williamsville, Mo on August 2, 1931 to the late Andrew H. and Anna Baker Ash.
On October 12, 1963 he and Betty Fox where married in Tijuana, Mexico. She survives of the home.

Mr. Ash was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed reading and keeping up with current events. He retired from U.S. Steel as a General Foreman and was a member of Algabil - Freedom #636 AF and AM and the A & A Scottish Rite Freeman Freemasonry in Mehlville, MO.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his two children: Gordon Ash (Tonya), of Casa Grande, AZ and Anna Jenkins (Roy), of Puxico, MO; and two grandchildren: Elizabeth and Harold Scott Ash of Dexter, MO.

Mr. Ash was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Millard, Gordon and G. Wayne Ash, and a sister, Gladys Gaudette.

Visitation will be Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, from 10 - 10:45 a.m., with Masonic Rites beginning at 10:45. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Catherine Bryant will be officiating.
