Harold E. Bilderback

Harold E. Bilderback, 86, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Bilderback was born Sept. 2, 1923 in Risco, Mo. He was a member of First Church of God, and had worked as a farmer as well as a mechanic for the Oldsmobile dealership. Mr. Bilderback enjoyed working on cars and hunting.

On May 25, 1946 he married Katie Underhill in Sikeston, Mo. She survives.

Other survivors include two children, Barbara Casteel and husband Clarence of Farmington, Mo. and Gene Bilderback and wife Brenda of Doniphan, Mo.; three grandchildren, Todd Tipton and wife Terri, Michelle Antonio and husband Julio and John Paul Bilderback and wife Stacy; six great-grandchildren, Alexis Tipton, Rylee Tipton, Samantha Eastwood, Kodi Eastwood, Dalton Bilderback and Ciara Bilderback.

His parents, Charles and Opal (Blake) Bilderback and a granddaughter, Michelle Renee Bilderback preceded him in death.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel with the Rev. Richard Triplett officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
