Harold Eugene Robbins, 66, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Robbins was born June 24, 1947 in Lansing Mich., and was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Robbins was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and worked as a transport specialist for John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of V.F.W. 6477, American Legion 153, Senior Vice-president for the district of Amvets 29, and an active member of the Veterans Honor Guard. He enjoyed going to deer camp, and fishing especially for trout.
Survivors include his friend and caregiver, Linda Goldsmith, of Fisk, Mo.; and many friends.
His parents, John A. and Virginia Kindle Robbins preceded him in death.
A graveside service with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Alton, Mo., with Chaplain Bill Hatch officiating.
