Harvey H. Scott

Harvey H. Scott, 74, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Scott was born Oct. 1, 1935 in Foreman, Ark. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff, and had retired from John Deere Manufacturing Co., in Moline, Ill. He enjoyed spending time with his family and country singing with local groups.

On May 18, 1992 he married Donna Pratt in Nashville, Tenn. She survives.

Other survivors include two children, Tony Scott of Rock Island, Ill. and Timmy Scott of Davenport, Iowa; seven step-children, Richard Stewart and Sgt. John Hofer both of Davenport, Iowa, Daniel Hyer of Ariz., Judy Bruer, Steven Hyer and Jerry Joyce all of Casper, Wisc., and Cindy Hyer of Prairie De Chien, Wisc.; six grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Hale of Ashdown, Ark.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Dr. William Vail officiating.
