Hazel Marie Hobbs

Hazel Marie Hobbs, 85, Of Poplar Bluff, Mo, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Westwood Health and Rehab Center.

Hazel the daughter of the late William Taylor and Oral Arvilla (Hull) Fagg was born December 20, 1935 in Greenville, Mo.  She was of the Baptist faith and a river boat cook for Ingram Barge.  Hazel enjoyed spending time with her family, going antique shopping and bird watching.

Survivors are her daughter, Sandra Bowman-Patterson and husband, Billy R. Patterson; grandchildren, Candace Hovis, Brent Bowman, Stephanie Brannum, Cindy Strickland and Cassie Newman; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Rainwater-Pikey, Elsa Atnip and Nera Broshuis.

Two sons, Michael T. Stokley and David Gene Brannum, brothers, William Melton Fagg and Melvin Monroe Fagg and a sister, Verna Arvilla Garcia also preceded her in death.

Due to the current pandemic a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
