Hazel Faye Manns

Hazel Faye Manns, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, at her son's residence.

Mrs. Manns was born on July 30, 1935 in Haigler, NE, to the late Andrew M. and Mildred E. (McIrvin) Burnside.

On April 7, 1956 she married Raymond A Manns, he preceded her in death on December 27, 2013.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed embroidery, listening to bluegrass and gospel music, visiting friends, and watching decent TV programs. She had worked for 33 years at the Holiday Inn.

She is survived by her son Roy Manns (Phyllis) of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren Megan Manns of Park Hills, MO, Mark VanMeter and Melissa Felts, of Poplar Bluff; two great-grandchildren: Jackie and Haylie; and three sisters: Marie Little and Inez Pritchett, both of Joppa, IL, and Edna Robbins, of Grassy, MO.

A graveside service will be held Monday, at 1 p.m. at City Cemetery, with Pastor Bobby Robbins officiating.
