Helen Louise Lintermann

Helen Louise Lintermann, 62, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Ms. Lintermann was born Feb. 16, 1947 in St. Louis. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had retired after 24 years of service at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Flavian Halter of Poplar Bluff; five nephews: Ken Halter and wife Barbara and Mark Halter and wife Rosetta all of Farmington, Steve Halter and wife Debbie of Poplar Bluff, Brian Halter and wife Anita of St. Louis and Greg Halter and wife Lisa of Cape Girardeau; and seven great nieces and nephews: Stephanie Halter, Veronica Halter, Steven Halter, Justin Halter, Jeremiah Halter, Kyle Halter and Caleb Halter.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with the remainder of the visitation following the prayer service. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 123 No. 8th St., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.
