Henry "Hank" William Vasicek

Henry “Hank” William Vasicek, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Cedargate Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff.

Hank, the son of the late Joseph and Agnes Mank Vasicek, was born Nov. 11, 1939 in New Lothrop, Mich. He was a member of Twin Springs Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. Hank loved to hunt and fish.

On June 10, 1978, he was married to the Marilyn Yvonne Thompson in Owasso, Mich. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2010.

Survivors include four step-children, Paul Penn, Becky Smith, Carol Lawrence and Gary Carroll; and six grandchildren.

A graveside service and inurnment of ashes will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Jason Jordan officiating.
