Hughey H Inman

Hughey H Inman, 82, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on August 26, 2025, following a lengthy illness.

Hughey was born on February 20, 1943, to Clyde and Eunice (Rowland) Inman in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Nancy Sue Hill on July 25, 1997.

Hughey was a well-known, lifelong farmer in Butler County. He and his twin brother, Dewey, and their sons, farmland mostly in the Rombauer area. He was the happiest, driving a tractor in the middle of a 40-acre field. God and Family were important to him but he also had a special love for the land he farmed. His stepdaughter, Andrea, was a true blessing during his illness to help take care of him and give Sue and his other children a rest whenever needed. Hughey was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He also served on the Inter River Drainage District Board. Hughey was a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed.

Hughey is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sue; two sons Todd (Kelly) Inman and Isaac (April) Inman; two stepdaughters, Karen Turner and Andrea (Bo) Morris; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Dewey (Jamie) Inman; two sisters, Ruth Ann Knodell and Mary (Charles) Burris and many other family members and friends.

Hughey was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Eunice; one daughter, Amanda Lynn LeGrand; twin brothers, Howard and Donald and one sister Betty Inman.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 pm-4:00 pm on Friday, August 29th, 2025, at Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Dave Young officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
