Inita Phillips

Inita Phillips, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo passed away January 3, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Phillips was born May 10, 1937 to Ben and Rose Mosley Wallace, in Monette, AR. and had two brothers, Norm Wallace and Don Wallace, and one sister, Lou Ellen Wallace.

She was married to William J. Phillips; he preceded her in death on January 10, 1997.

Mrs. Phillips attended the Doniphan Church of Christ, and was a homemaker whom enjoyed reading, flowers, and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Roy Orbeson.

Survivors include two sons, Don Phillips of Poplar Bluff and Bill Phillips and wife Katie, of Poplar Bluff, two brothers, and nine grandchildren, Clayton Vass, Melanie Vass, David Vass, Kevin Vass, Jr., Timothy Phillips, Katie Jarrell, Ben Phillips, Sheila Royce and Randy Hederer.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. on Friday at Cotrell Funeral Service, and continues until time of service at 11 a.m. Pastor Vernon Curry will be officiating. Interment will follow at City Cemetery.
