Irene "Sally" Lemings

Irene "Sally" Lemings, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at her residence.
Mrs. Lemings was born July 18, 1939, in Alabama to the late Carl Doyle and Fennie Irene (Oakes) Heaton. She was married to Clyde Wade Lemings. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lemings was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, babysitting, embroidery and was an Elvis Presley fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Ann Templemire (Keith); a granddaughter, Jamie Templemire, all of Poplar Bluff; two brothers: Jack Garland Heaton, of Shook, MO and Melvin Lee Heaton, of Williamsville; four sisters: Anita Fay Huneycutt, Bonnie Evonne Reed, and Carolyn Sue Aldrich, all of Poplar Bluff, and Donis June Lemings, of Clarkton, MO.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: William "Buck" Heaton, Gordon Bennett, and C.D. Heaton.
Visitation will be Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, beginning at 1 p.m., until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Standfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.
