Irene Lucille Spain

Irene Lucille Spain, 97, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Spain, the last of ten children of the late Ernest A. and Emma Voreana Hertz Baker, was born Sept. 18, 1921 in Knob Lick, Mo. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church, and had retired after many years as a Registered Nurse.

Survivors include a daughter Rebecca Ann McNemar of Orville Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Spain also was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Lewis Gourley and Ezra O. Spain and a son, Frederick Wayne Gourley.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6th at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
