Isaac Wesley Nesler

Isaac W. Nesler, 91, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday June 27, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Nesler, the son of the late Robert and Martha Moore Nesler was born July 4, 1924 in Arkansas. He was known as the "lawnmower" man and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was united in marriage to Ethel Bailey on Aug. 23, 1943. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Nesler is survived by his children: Juanita Eddington, Robert Nesler, Izetta Fortenberry, Caroline Harris, Charlie Nesler and Teresa Scudder; a special granddaughter that he raised, Martha Townsend; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His two daughters; Georgia Rommel and Janice Rice preceded him in death.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Patterson officiating.
