Ivan Allen

Ivan Leon Allen (Mickey), 84, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Thursday December 27, 2018 peacefully at home.

Ivan was born on April 28, 1934 to Chester and Blanche (MaGhee) Allen in Poplar Bluff, MO. Ivan worked as an Insurance Agent for Shelter Insurance for over 20 years. On October 17, 1955 he married Margaret LeFevre in Wichita, Kansas. Ivan and Margaret resided in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Ivan was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ as well as Westwood Baptist Church.

Ivan is survived by his loving spouse of 63 years Margaret, Three Sons, Michael (Teri) Allen, Mark Allen, David (Jane) Allen; Daughter, Teresa Allen; Five Grandsons, Brad (Ashley) Allen, Brian (Amanda) Allen, Mark Jeffrey Allen, Blake Allen, Nicholas Allen; Four Granddaughters, Brooke Allen, Anna Allen, Brittany (Josh) Sandifer and Melissa (Ezekiel Armstrong) Herman; Five Great-Grandsons, Emmet Sandifer, Hunter and Haiden Allen, Paxton and Dayton Armstrong; One Great-Granddaughter, Emma Allen; One Brother, Gary Allen.

Ivan was preceded in death by his Father, Chester Allen, Mother, Blanche Allen; One Brother Leroy Allen and One Sister Carol Hoefer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Vernon Curry and Steve Proctor officiating.
