J. Michael Wilson

J. Michael ""Mike"" Wilson, 51, of Mehlville, formerly of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Wilson was born June 3, 1958 in St. Louis. He was employed as a caregiver for Alzheimer patients. Mr. Wilson enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Marita Wilson of Poplar Bluff: life partner, Gerald Kalicki of Mehlville and children, Kari Kalicki and Scott Kalicki; sisters: JoAnna Wilson, of Poplar Bluff, Karen L. Wilson, of Springfield, Va., and Rita Marie Ferguson and life partner, Durell Dean of Independence, Mo.; niece, Ashley Wilson; nephews: Derek Dean, J.W. Starkey and Brock Starkey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his father, James O. Wilson.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Joe Arellano officiating.
