James Lester Fluech

James Lester Fluech, 80, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 08, 2026, at Westwood Hills Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Jim was born on March 18, 1946, to Joseph and Agnes (Stenger) Fluech in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jim was honored to serve in the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and then continued his career until retirement with the United States Postal Service. His greatest love in life was his family, to whom he was deeply devoted.

Jim is survived by children, Nicole Fluech, Mike (Christina) Fluech, and Pam (Scott) Lindner; grandchildren, Mitchell Holohan, Megan (Stehan) Ceronio, Caleb (Sarah) Fluech, Amy Fluech, Melanie (Dylan) Engle, and Mark (Milana) Lindner; great grandchildren, Chloe, Maddie, Annie, and Sebastian; and brothers, Joseph Fluech II, and John Fluech.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Agnes, siblings, Edward Fluech and Sister Clara Ann.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 12, 2026 @ 10am. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery following the mass.
