James Coy Humphrey III

James Coy Humphrey III, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on September 28, 2025, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Coy was born on February 5, 1950, to James and Dorothy (Hellums) Humphrey II in St. Louis, Missouri.

Coy owned a mechanic shop for many years, he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying working with cattle, and fishing. He loved his family and will be missed dearly by them.

Coy is survived by children, Travis (Katina) Humphrey and Annette (Eric) Reid; grandchildren, Laura (Kyle) Jaycox, Lily (Matt) Lister, Josh Reid (Samantha Simpson), Rebekah Reid, and Andrew (Kristen) Martin; great grandchildren, Noah Jaycox, Clara and Leah Lister, and Alexis and Aria Martin; siblings, Joe (Jody) Humphrey and Paul (Barb) Humphrey; nephew, Kurt Humphrey and nieces, Lindsey (Eric) Buffington, Miranda (Ryan) Fickert and Stacy Birdsong.

Coy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy.

Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 03, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
