Janet Elaine (Caywood) Clark entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2025, in Poplar Bluff, M0, after an extended illness. She was born in Clifton Kansas, on August 18, 1934, to Forrest and Faye Caywood. She grew up in Clifton Kansas, Columbus Ohio and Calistoga, California. She went on to a career of nursing as a geriatric nurse's aide while raising her four children.
She married Ted Glass and had a son Ronald (Debra), who all preceded her in death.
She married Burl Porter and had two sons, Kevin, Jerry and a daughter, Darla.
She later married Warren Clark, who proceeded her in death.
She worked for 18 years in California at a State Veterans Home. She also spent years helping raise her grandchildren in MO. She was a member of The New Covenant Church in Poplar Bluff, MO, The Daughter's of American Revolution, the Lion's Club, and The Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Porter, Jerry Porter (Cecille), and Darla
Logan (Ken), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Janet was always known as a loving caregiver not only to her patients, but especially to her family and extended families. She knew how to make someone feel special and cared about. She will be greatly missed.
Services will be announced at a later date with burial in the Rucker Cemetery in Wayne County, MO.
