Jayden Lyric Brannon

JayDen Lyric Brannon, 8, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Sunday February 1, 2015, alongside his brother, Phoenix, at the home of his grandparents, as a result of a fire.

JayDen was born in Poplar Bluff on May 30, 2006 to Terry Blankenship and Dusty Whittaker. He was a 3rd student at Lake Road School. He enjoyed spending time with his grandpas, reading to his little brother Grayson, fishing and swimming.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers: Grayson Vass and David and T.J. Blankenship; sisters: Fiona Littrel, Hailey Blankenship and Michaela Hahn, all of Poplar Bluff; grandparents: Danny and Erma Pierce of Poplar Bluff, Kenny Blankenship, of Benton, MO, Angie Watkins, of Florence, OR; a great-grandmother Irma Englerth of Poplar Bluff, and aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 - 7:30 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 Monday at the Chapel with Pastor Alan Harlan officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
