Jeanie Kay Carter, 59 of Bell City, Mo, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanie was born on April 5, 1961 in Sikeston, MO the daughter of Betty Jean (Kearby) Kennedy.
Jeanie was of the Baptist faith and was a phlebotomist. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors, fishing and painting.
Jeanie is survived by her special father Raymond and mother Betty Kennedy; two children, Rachel Carter (George) Lewis and Kasey Carter all of Wappapello, MO. ; three brothers, Brian (Denice) Kennedy of Sikeston, MO, Clarence (Whitney) Kellogg of Malvern, AR and Robert Ray (Amber) Kellogg, Jr. also of Story AR.; four sisters, MaryAnn Corlee (fiancée Jonathan Edington) of Corning, AR, Robin (Clayton) Sweo of Poplar Bluff, Elizabeth (Mike) Harris of Fordland, MO and Lesa (Lonny) Miller of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, George Raymond Lewis, Bruce Franklin Lewis, Austin Jean Carter and Sebastian Carter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her biological father Robert Ray Kellogg and a niece Miracle Kennedy.
A graveside service and burial will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Edington, Ryan Corlee, Brian Kennedy, Mike Harris, Clayton Sweo and Lonny Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Lewis, Bruce Lewis, Austin Carter and Sebastian Carter.
