Jerry Dale Foster, Sr.

Jerry Dale Foster, Sr., 60, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Foster was born Feb. 1, 1954 in Poplar Bluff to the late Earl and Jessie June Hedge Foster. He was of the Baptist faith, and had worked at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Foster enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and being outdoors.

On May 31, 2008, he was married to Sharon Smith in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his son, Jerry Dale Foster, Jr. of Poplar Bluff; a stepdaughter, Joyce Burbridge, also of Poplar Bluff; and two grandchildren, Jessica Rose Foster and Jonathan Ray Alford.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff.
