Jerry Hester

Jerry Hester, 83, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Saturday December 8, 2018 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born November 23, 1935 to Paul and Beatrice (Faulkner) Hester in Bloomfield, MO. He graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1953. Jerry was self-employed as an agricultural land surveyor. On February 6, 1960 he married Betty J. Burton in Poplar Bluff, MO. Jerry is survived by his loving spouse of 59 years, Betty, of the home; his daughter, Paula Hefner of Poplar Bluff, MO; and three granddaughters, Quaker Hefner, Fathom Hefner and fiancée, Alex Riffle, and Nina Hefner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 9:30 – 11:30 am at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO.
 Memorial Services will be immediately following visitation at 11:30 am in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Byron Beck officiating. Private interment at Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri to follow. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
