Jerry Jean Simmons

Jerry J. Simmons, 85, of Farmington, Mo, formally of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday Sept. 16, 2016 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Mo.

Ms. Simmons was born July 2, 1931 in Zenith, Ark. and had retired from Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Her father, Raymond Simmons, her mother, Elsie Woodring, a sister, Burlis D. Gulley and an infant brother, Dale Raymond Simmons, preceded her in death.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at noon with the Rev. Billy Orr officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
