Jesse Allen Collins

Jesse Allen Collins, 56, of Kennett, Mo., passed away, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mr. Collins was born Dec. 10, 1958 in Dunklin, Mo. to the late James and Earlene Patton Collins. He was employed as a cabinet worker. Mr. Collins enjoyed spending time with his family, music and fishing.

On Aug. 10, 1993, he was married to the former Carla Hodge Gentry in Kennett, Mo. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two children: Kristen Gentry of Sikeston, Mo. and Jessica Wake (Camden) of Kennett; two grandchildren: Randall Mallett and Abbey Wake; a sister, Mary Carnell of Sikeston; a brother, George Collins of Kennett; a nephew, Robert Collins, from Lexington, Tenn., who was like a brother; and many nieces and nephews.

Also preceding Mr. Collins in death was a son, Richie Gentry, two sisters Sandy and Ann, and a granddaughter, Macey Wake.
