Jessie M. Baumgardner

Jessie May Baumgardner, 98, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at her son's residence in Enid, Okla.

Mrs. Baumgardner was born July 28, 1912 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had retired as an LPN from Doctor's Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Baumgardner enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

She was married to Charles Franklin Baumgardner. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1972.

Survivors include three children, John Baumgardner of Enid, Okla., Mary Ann Ryan of Billings, Mo. and George William Baumgardner of Columbus, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
