Jewell G. Botkin, 86, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at her home.
Mrs. Botkin was born July 28, 1927, to Elbert and Mary Mae Hosea McLesky. They preceded her in death, along with her husband Jesse Lee Botkin who died on March 5, 1985.
Mrs. Botkin was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was owner and operator of Hayden Barbecue, and an antique collector of furniture and glass.
Survivors include her son, Michael Botkin of Poplar Bluff, niece and caregiver; Ruthie Hardin of Poplar Bluff; nieces, Stephanie Pope and Nancy Huser both of Chicago, Il, and Imogene Johnston of Memphis, TN, two nephews; Winnfred McLesky and Don McLesky and a sister Maxine Pope (John) of St. Peters, Mo.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 ? 7 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Service. With the funeral service starting at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Rev. Jim Schremp will officiate. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens.
