Jimmy Glenn Day

Jimmy Glenn Day, 60, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Albertville, Ala. died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Day was born July 18, 1953 in Mansfield, La. He attended First Baptist Church in Albertville, Ala., and was previously employed as a manager for Lowe's Home Improvement. Mr. Day was a raging LSU fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family, reading and playing golf.

Mr. Day is survived by his wife of 20 years, Paula Talbert Day of the home; five children: Robbie (Crystal) Day McGowen and children, Kayla and Brock of Boaz Ala.; Sarah Day and children, Collin and Avery of West Monroe, La.; Josef Forrester of Oxford, Ala.; Keith Forrester of Kaden Air Force Base, in Okinawa, Japan; and Kyle Forrester of Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Ark.; his father, Donald Day of Farmerville, La.; two sisters: Sandy Day of Monroe, La., and Brenda (Jimmy) Rosson of Farmerville, La.; and five brothers: Donnie (Beverly) Day of Fairbury, Nebr., Roger (Charlotte) Day of Monroe, La., Jerry Day of Johnson City, Tenn., Jeff (Katie) Day of Arab, Ala. and Kevin Day of Boaz, Ala.

His mother, Jimmie Dell Crow Day and infant brother, Richard Scott Day preceded Mr. Day in death.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20th at Mt. Nebo Community Church, 1296 Downsville Road, in Downsville, La.
