JoAnn Curtis, 64, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006 at her residence.
Mrs. Curtis was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Marshton, Mo. A homemaker, she was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, in Harrisburg, Ark. Mrs. Curtis enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and photography work. She also loved animals as well.
Survivors include her mother, Earlene (Hughes) Sanders, of Campbell; three sons, Jeff Curtis and wife Becky, of Courtland, Miss., Perry Curtis and wife Lisa, of Harrisburg, Ark. and Kevin Curtis and wife Mary Ann, of Houston, Tex.; four grandchildren, Cody Curtis, Keely Curtis, Betsy Anderson and husband Scott and Brittaney Curtis, two great-grandchildren, Trace Anderson and Tate Anderson; two sisters, Rhonda Gail Forkum, of Dexter and Debbie Arevalo, of Campbell; and two brothers, Ray Gene Sanders, of House Springs and Wayne Sanders, of Campbell;
Her father, Clester Hayes Sanders and two brothers, Danny Sanders and Gregory Lynn Sanders preceded Mrs. Curtis in death.
The visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15th in the chapel, with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, in Campbell.
