John M. Albright

John M. Albright, J.D., (50), of Poplar Bluff, MO, died at his home on Monday, October 31, 2016.

John was born on May 13, 1966 in Huntington, WV to the late Doris and Charles Albright. After serving in the US Army as combat engineer, John graduated from Marshall University in 1993 with a degree in Philosophy and from Washington University- St. Louis, MO, in 1996 with a Juris Doctor Degree. John practiced law for over twenty years in South East Missouri.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Vaughn Allen (16) and Charli Francis (14). John is also survived by his sister, Anita Campbell of Teays Valley, WV and his brother, Charles Albright of CT.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at the Ridgelawn Memorial Park, in Huntington, WV in the mausoleum overlooking the pond, entering the memorial park from Route 60.

At a time to be determined, John will take one last fishing trip to Camp Wallalatoola, Virginia, a beloved boy’s camp he swore saved him from a life of thuggery as a teen. His ashes will be returned to the camp sometime in the spring of 2017, when the water is clear and the morning mountain air is still crisp.
