John R. Fewin

John R. Fewin, 79 of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Fewin was born December 24, 1927 in Butler County. He had retired as a heavy equipment operator for Midwest Operating Engineers. After retirement, Mr. Fewin bought, remodeled and built homes for resale in Poplar Bluff. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Europe during World War II.

Surviving are one sister, Anna Fewin of Piggott, Ark., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
